Welcome to MakerUp.

These Terms and Conditions govern access to and use of the MakerUp platform, available at makerup.app. By registering or using our services you accept the terms described in this document.

If you do not agree with any of these terms, you must refrain from using the platform.

Purpose

MakerUp is a digital platform designed to help makers, professionals and companies manage their 3D printing activity.

Among other services, MakerUp lets you manage projects, printers, filament inventory, quotes, public profiles and tools related to organizing digital manufacturing workshops.

Some features may evolve or be added progressively as the platform develops.

User registration

Creating an account is required to access certain features.

The user agrees to:

Use of the platform

The user may use MakerUp only for lawful purposes and respecting the rights of other users.

Public profiles and content

MakerUp allows users to create public profiles and publish projects, images, information and other content.

Each user is solely responsible for the content they publish and warrants that they hold the rights needed to share it.

MakerUp may remove any content that breaches current legislation or the Community Guidelines.

Marketplace and quote requests

MakerUp makes it easier for makers and clients to connect.

The platform acts as a technological intermediary to facilitate contact between both parties, but does not take part directly in the manufacture, delivery or warranty of the products offered by users.

Each maker is responsible for the quotes, products, deadlines and conditions agreed with their clients.

In future versions, certain transactions made through the marketplace may be subject to the financial conditions in force at that time.

Plans and subscriptions

MakerUp offers different ways to use the service.

MakerUp Free

The platform's main features are available free of charge to all users.

MakerUp Community

Access to the official Community on Skool is a separate subscription intended to provide training, exclusive resources and participation in the community.

Taking out this subscription is entirely voluntary and is not required to use MakerUp.

MakerUp Business

MakerUp may offer advanced plans for professional workshops and companies with specific features.

The features, prices and conditions of each plan will be available on the Plans and Pricing page.

Payments

Paid services will be billed according to the rates published at any given time.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, subscriptions renew automatically until the user requests cancellation.

Applicable taxes will be shown during the purchase process where relevant.

Intellectual property

All rights to the MakerUp platform, including its design, code, logos, brand, documentation, images and other proprietary content, belong to MakerUp or their respective owners.

Their reproduction, distribution or use without prior authorization is prohibited.

Users retain the intellectual property of the content they publish on the platform.

Data protection

Personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

By using MakerUp you accept that processing under the terms set out in that policy.

Service availability

We work to keep MakerUp continuously available.

However, interruptions may occur due to:

Limitation of liability

MakerUp provides tools to make managing 3D printing workshops easier, but does not guarantee commercial, financial or production results from their use.

Any dispute will be resolved by the competent courts and tribunals in accordance with current regulations.
